Paul and Peter emphasize that God has given each person unique gifts or talents to be used for the benefit of others and God’s glory. The God-Given Gifts course will be running for four-weeks, beginning Monday, 14 October 2024 from 7.30pm-9pm in the Oasis. Please sign up through ChurchSuite Discovering Your God-Given Gifts (14-Oct-2024) or at the Welcome Desk.

This course will not only help you find out what your gift is, it will also help you understand how to use it in all the areas of your life like in church, in your relationships, or even your job. It will help you understand why you see things differently or feel fulfilled in different ways to other people in the church, even in your own family.

But using your gift should not be a chore, rather it’s a fulfilment of the gift God gave you!  He has given us something so wonderfully unique that our own individual gift will bring us joy as we use it, and more importantly, it will draw us closer to God.  Even better, as we all use our gifts, they will complement each other even though they are all different. Just as Romans 12 verse 4 reminds us, our gifts intertwine; one body with many members, each with different functions.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms…so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:10,11.
