NEW COMMUNICANTS OCTOBER 2015 Bible Academy Reason I go to Bible Academy; fellowship, discussion, thought provoking and cofee!! Diane Hayes I have been going to the Bible Academy for quite a few years. I really enjoy learning about the Bible in greater depth, discussing issues and being able to ask questions. We also learn from each other and can share how God’s word has helped us to cope with life in the good and bad times. We enjoy learning from Profession of faith: each other without any pressure to contribute if we do not want to. It is not only an enjoyable way to spend a morning with new friends but it is of great spiritual beneft too, as we open our minds and hearts to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Cofee and David McCartney, Fred Moore, David Stevenson, Jenny Sutherland scones are greatly appreciated and provide the opportunity to get to know the others who come along too. Re-Afrmation of Faith: Brian and Laurene Patterson David Shaw, Lorna Topping, Richard Topping Bible Academy is a highlight of my week as we study God’s word in more depth. It is a Transfer: great forum for discussion and discovery together, of the truths on God’s word. Recently we have completed an overview of the Bible, looked at the Psalms, Galatians, Covenant, Tabernacle and Temple. These topics have been challenging and Julie Bishop, Stephen Bishop, Hannah Jess, Ryan Jess have helped to develop my devotional life. Plus I like the chat, scones and cofee.
